Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at a showroom inside a mall in Mumbai's Bandra on Tuesday morning. According to reports, the fire engulfed the entire mall.
After receiving the information, fire tenders reached the spot and a firefighting operation was launched. Senior officials also rushed to the spot. The mall reportedly belongs to Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Zeeshan Siddique's family.

According to reports, the fire initially broke out at the Croma showroom in the basement of Link Square Mall on Linking Road in Bandra West. The Mumbai Fire Brigade declared it a 'level-IV' blaze. The blaze engulfed dozens of shops, restaurants in the mall leaving a huge financial loss to its individual owners.
Zeeshan Siddique's Statement:
The NCP leader criticised the Mumbai fire brigade over the fire. He claimed that the fire department failed to control the blaze as the department was "ill-equipped'.
"There was a spark in an electronics showroom in the basement... The fire department has failed to control the fire... It could have easily been controlled initially, but the fire officers were ill-equipped," Siddique told reporters.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) also helped the Mumbai Fire Brigade in the firefighting operation. An NDRF team reached the spot at around 7:50 am.

Notably, the building near the fire site was vacated by MFB for safety reasons. The firefiughters also deployed 'fire robot' to combat massive blaze.
The cause of the blaze is still not known. So far there are no reports of any injuries.
Later in the day, the blaze was brought under control.
