Mumbai: In a shocking incident that has shaken the conscience of the city, a man was brutally murdered in broad daylight in the Nagpada area of Mumbai, allegedly due to an old family feud.

The deceased, Ajit Kharva, had come to Nagpada from Boisar with his son to purchase a mobile phone. During their visit, he unexpectedly encountered his brother-in-law, Vijay Chatur Kharva, and Vijay’s two sons. The meeting reignited a long-standing enmity between the families.

In a sudden escalation, Vijay and his sons allegedly attacked Ajit with a knife, fatally stabbing him. The Nagpada Police rushed to the scene and sent the body for post-mortem to J.J. Hospital. A case of murder has been registered, and a manhunt is underway to trace the accused.

Police officials have stated that preliminary investigations indicate personal animosity as the motive behind the killing. Further inquiry is ongoing.
