Mumbai Crime: 16-year-old boy stabbed to death by man for not returning Rs 500 he had borrowed

In a shocking incident, on Tuesday a 23-year-old man stabbed 16-year-old boy to death for not returning Rs 500 he had borrowed.

According to the Hindustan Times, the incident took place on Tuesday when both — 16-year-old boy and 23-year-old man — had an argument over Rs 500 which the deceased had borrowed from the accused. The accused has been identified as Bipin Yadav and the deceased has been identified as Sundaram Nishad. On the day of the incident, Sundaram Nishad told Bipin Yadav that he could not pay him back the money — Rs 500 — which he had borrowed from him. This led to an argument between both and following to which Yadav pulled out a knife-like object and attacked Nishad several times.

Yadav fled from the scene after stabbing Nishad. Nishad collapsed down after being stabbed by Yadav and later locals rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The Ulhasnagar police have dispatched a team to Uttar Pradesh where they suspect the accused has fled to. The cops have filed a case under section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
