Mumbai: With an aim to follow the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has taken up the construction work of three public toilets in Goregaon. Out of the three, one toilet has already been constructed adjacent to the Goregaon west railway station and is now functional for the public.

The other toilets will be constructed at Vishwanath Guruji Udyan at Goregaon east and Ashok Nagar at the Western Express Highway (WEH).

Santosh Dhonde, BMC ward officer, told the Free Press Journal, “The toilet at Vishwanath Udyan is already under construction and should be ready soon. We will soon start the construction work of the toilet at the WEH.”
