In Powai, a 27-year-old woman reportedly died after falling from the 11th floor of a building on January 9. According to the police, the fall was accidental, and an accidental death report has been filed.
The deceased has been identified as Jinal Vora. A police officer stated that preliminary investigations revealed no foul play, and her relatives have expressed no suspicion of anyone. No complaints have been filed with the police.
About The Incident
The police reported that Vora lived in Borivali East and worked at Marsh McLennan, a company located in Supreme Business Park, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. On Thursday, during preparations for a birthday celebration for her manager in an area called 'Breakout' at her office, the incident occurred. Around 8 PM, while the preparations were underway, Vora took a coffee break and went near an emergency window in the same area.
While having her coffee, she lost her balance and fell from the 11th floor to the 10th floor through the emergency window into the garden area, sustaining severe head injuries. Her colleagues immediately rushed her to Hiranandani Hospital, where doctors examined her and pronounced her dead.
At around 8.15 PM, her husband, Siddharth Kakka, a 30-year-old lawyer practising at the Bombay High Court, was informed about the incident.
