Mumbai: 25-Year-Old Man Detained For Raping Two Minor Girls In Sion

Mumbai : A case of Sexual assault of two minor girls has come to light in Sion area of ​​Mumbai. In this case, the police have registered a case against 25 year old person under rape and POCSO Act Section and are interrogating him after taking him into custody. 

According to the information received from the police, one of the girls who have been raped is 6 years old and the other is 8 years old. On Monday evening, the victim girls were playing in Sion area, when the accused pulled them behind a car. After this, he touched them inappropriately and raped them. After the incident, one of the two girls told her family about the incident.

After this, her family registered a case in Dharavi Police Station. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police immediately registered a case under section 65, 66 (2) of BNS and POCSO. In this case, the police have identified the accused and taken him into custody and are interrogating him. Further investigation is currently underway in this matter.
