Mumbai: A 24-year-old woman, Sonam Rajnath Yadav (24), lost her life when part of the metal loft in her house collapsed on Friday afternoon. She lived in a ground-plus-one structure at Ganesh Chowk, near Bappa Sitaram Mandir in Kandivali West.
This incident was reported at 12.44 pm after which the Fire Department, police, ambulance, JCB machine and local Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ward office staff were rushed for rescue work. She was pulled out by the fire department and rushed to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital (Shatabdi Hospital) in Kandivali but was declared dead before admission.
