Mumbai: A disturbing case of sexual assault has emerged from Mankhurd, where a 17-year-old minor allegedly raped a 27-year-old woman at knifepoint while she was alone at home. The Mumbai Police have detained the minor and sent him to a juvenile correctional facility.

According to police reports, the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The woman, a homemaker, was sitting near the door of her house with her two children inside, while her husband was at work. The accused, who had been monitoring her movements, followed her into the house, locked the door from inside, and brandished a knife. He threatened to kill her and her children if she resisted.
