Navi Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a truck terminal late at night in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The fire was so terrible that its flames and smoke were visible from a distance. It is being told that some vehicles parked in the terminal also caught fire. Which has caused a lot of damage.

During this, some explosions were also heard. Efforts are on to control the fire. However, there is no news of anyone being injured so far. It has also come to light that the place where the fire broke out is an MSRTC bus depot, which is used as a temporary parking for trucks.

On Sunday night, July 6, a large blaze erupted at a warehouse located within a truck parking zone adjacent to the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market in Turbhe Sector 20 of Navi Mumbai. Numerous vehicles, primarily trucks and tempos, were damaged in the blaze. Vehicles owned by Kashmiri transporters were likewise damaged in the fire.

"Both of our vehicles were set on fire. Who will provide us with the funds? What are we going to put on now? We have no resources remaining. We traveled all the way from Jammu and Kashmir," the truck drivers mentioned while talking to the news agency IANS. They claimed that firefighters hesitated to proceed with firefighting efforts after receiving their assistance.

As per the details, eight to ten trucks and tempos were destroyed in the fire. Police and fire units are on-site. The reason for the fire is still not determined. As of now, there have been no reports of injuries or casualties from the fire.
