Mumbai: Two days after a video went viral showing a verbal altercation between a Domino’s delivery boy and a Marathi-speaking couple over language issues, a new video has emerged in which the delivery boy is seen publicly apologising. The apology was filmed at the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) office, where the delivery executive clarified his side of the story and apologised for any misunderstanding.

Delivery Boy Apologises On Camera

In the video, he explained that he had shared the original video in a Domino’s staff group, but it unexpectedly went viral. Facing the MNS workers, the delivery boy apologised to the couple and stated that he would learn and speak Marathi moving forward. He said on camera, “The lady was very kind, and she had paid for the order. I sincerely apologise to her. From now on, I will learn and speak Marathi. Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra.”

The incident that sparked the controversy reportedly took place in Mumbai's Bhandup. In the viral footage, the woman can be seen arguing with the delivery executive, who recorded the entire exchange on his phone. The video begins with the woman asking him to “go stay in Haryana” if he does not know Marathi. When the delivery boy questions why speaking Marathi is being forced, she replies, “That’s how it is here.”

He asks, “Who said so?” to which the woman responds, “We don’t know Hindi.” Her husband adds, “If you don’t know Hindi, then don’t place the order.” The confrontation escalates as the man tells the delivery boy, “Now we will not pay you,” and starts to close the door. The woman stops him midway and the delivery boy asks for an explanation.

The man claims there was a problem with the order, leading the delivery boy to ask him to show it. The woman then tells her husband to call someone named “Sanjay Patil,” likely a local contact. The delivery executive stands his ground and says, “If I don’t know Marathi, should I be forced to speak it?” The woman responds by warning him not to record videos, saying, “I can record you, but you cannot record me.” The delivery boy then alleged that he was ultimately forced to leave without receiving payment for the order.
