The government has introduced face detection and ‘Digi Pravesh App’ systems to manage the growing crowd at Mantralaya.

Currently, 14,978 users are registered under the face detection system, while 2,422 people have signed up for the ‘Digi Pravesh App’ in the past four days.

So far, 1,321 individuals who completed the required documentation have been granted entry through the app. These systems have reduced waiting time and eliminated the hassle of standing in long queues.

On Cabinet meeting days, officials and staff from across the state visit Mantralaya, leading to heavy crowds. The frequent movement of VIPs also raises security concerns. To manage this, the state government introduced digital access systems, improving crowd control and security.

In the first phase, a face recognition-based entry system was implemented, followed by a visitor management system in the second. Going forward, all officials, employees and visitors must use the ‘Digi Pravesh’ App.

Currently, two online windows are operational for processing Digi Pravesh entries. Given the increasing demand, the state government plans to introduce two more windows to further streamline the process, a senior official confirmed.
