Maharashtra Forest Minister Ganesh Naik on Friday inspected several major infrastructure and development projects across the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area to review the progress of ongoing works.
The inspection tour began at the Airoli Natyagruha, where Naik reviewed civic and infrastructure projects before proceeding to other key sites.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial Among Sites Visited
As part of the tour, the minister visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj full-length statue memorial in Airoli, followed by an inspection of the Airoli–Katai Bridge.
He later inspected the Turbhe–Kharghar Link Road, including the road and tunnel project, where he reviewed the progress of construction and took stock of the ongoing work.
Senior officials from the state government and the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation accompanied the minister during the inspection. The visit was aimed at assessing the progress of major infrastructure projects and reviewing their implementation on the ground.
