An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale hit near Maharashtra's Nashik on Thursday.

According to National Center for Seismology (NCS), it occurred 95 km west of Nashik at 2.28 PM.

"An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale occurred 95 km west of Nashik, Maharashtra at 1428 hours", NCS was quoted by ANI.
