Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis has decided to take responsibility of 100 children from Nagpur who have lost their parents, for their education, health and nutrition.

Fadnavis announced his decision while inaugurating the novel concept to be implemented by NGO ‘Sobat’ at Nagpur. It has been launched at the behest of former mayor of Nagpur Sandeep Joshi.

“Not just for the first 100 children that have been registered today, I will contribute for each child registered from Nagpur South West assembly constituency which is represented by me," Fadnavis announced.

The inauguration of the new project coincided with the birthday of Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. Former ministers Girish Mahajan and Chandrashekhar Bawankule were also present on the occasion.

Lauding the concept, Fadnavis said, the project being launched today is commendable and can be emulated elsewhere.
