Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Releases Books & Poetry Collections Honouring Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar On Her 300th Birth Anniversary

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis led the big celebration of the 300th birth anniversary of Rajmata Punyashloka Ahilyadevi Holkar. On this special occasion, he released books.

Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis led the grand celebration of the Tricentenary Birth Anniversary of Rajmata Punyashloka Ahilyadevi Holkar by releasing various books, special issues, and poetry collections dedicated to her extraordinary life and legacy. The event was held at Shrikshetra Choundi, the birthplace of the legendary queen in Ahilyanagar.

Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar, known for her wisdom, justice, and devotion, ruled the Malwa kingdom with great integrity and is remembered as one of India’s most revered female rulers. To commemorate her 300th birth anniversary, several books were launched highlighting her contributions to social welfare, spirituality, and governance.

The newly released books include:

‘Lokrajya’ Special Edition

‘Dharmasheel Ahilya’, authored by Rekha Karandikar

‘Bhajanamrut Sarita’, a poetry collection by poet Shriram Punde

A special commemorative issue of Daily Punyanagari

‘Ahilya Kiran’, a book by Kalyani Waghmode

These books explore various aspects of Rajmata Ahilyadevi’s life, including her administrative excellence, religious devotion, and her enduring legacy in Indian history.

The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Chairman of the Legislative Council Prof. Ram Shinde, and Ministers Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Atul Save, and Dattatray Bharane, along with many MLAs and scholars.

Maharashtra Artist Creates Huge Rangoli Using 4 Tonnes of Powder to Celebrate 300th Birth Anniversary of Rajmata Ahilya Devi Holkar

To celebrate the 300th birth anniversary of Rajmata Ahilya Devi Holkar, a beautiful and record-breaking rangoli portrait of her was made in Miraj, Maharashtra.

The huge artwork was created using four tonnes of colourful rangoli powder. The artist has also been listed in the Guinness Book of Records for his creative work.

This rangoli was made by well-known artist Adamali Mujawar, who is also a teacher. He has already made 26 world records and now adds this as his 27th achievement.
