Mumbai: The BJP has convened a two-day state convention in Shirdi, beginning on Saturday. The party’s national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the convention to guide nearly 15,000 BJP office-bearers.
Saturday’s meeting was attended by ministers, state functionaries, district presidents and state morcha heads. State president Chandrashekhar Bawankule, national general secretary Vinod Tawde, national co-organisation minister Shivprakash, national secretary Pankaja Munde and state organisation in-charge Ravindra Chavan were also present.
The BJP will engage youngsters through the convention on Sunday. A BJP office-bearer from Nashik stated, “The convention will focus on passing resolutions aimed at increasing youth participation in active politics. Strategies will be discussed, and teams will be mobilised to encourage greater involvement of young people, which will undoubtedly benefit the BJP in the local body elections.”
Amit Shah and JP Nadda are set to be the key speakers at the event. The convention will draw inspiration from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to youth empowerment, national progress, and the spiritual development of young people."
