Western Railway has commenced its International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations with a series of engaging and inspiring events aimed at honoring the contributions of women and fostering a spirit of inclusivity and empowerment. The celebrations are taking place at the headquarters, as well as across all divisions and workshops of Western Railway.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek, as part of the ongoing Women's Day celebrations, a health awareness program was organized at Western Railway’s headquarters on March 7, 2025. The event featured motivational sessions led by women officers and staff, followed by a vibrant Fun & Fair event with exciting games and DJ music, where participants enthusiastically took part.
The celebrations will continue until March 10, 2025, with activities such as yoga sessions, wellness programs, and cultural events planned across various locations.
