Mumbai, known to be the city that never sleeps and is one of the safest for women in India, did not live upto its expectations when an auto-ride turned into a nightmare for a Delhi woman who was in Mumbai for her internship.

Sharing her dreadful experience on social media, the woman said that like any other day, she was walking home from the office when an auto driver offered a ride and she hopped into it.

Midway, a man got into her auto who seemed to be the driver's friend. Initially, she found this situation strange, but chose to keep calm. After some time, the new 'pessenger' started asking her personal questions that made her uncomfortable.

Later, he tried poking her wrist and asked her phone number. Soon after both men realised that the woman was panicking they started reassuring her of her safety.

The woman, at some point, started snapping at both men. However, later they offered her to get down of the auto to which she quickly agreed. This incident left her speechless and rattled in the middle of the road.
