Mumbai: Bandra’s Government Railway Police (GRP) on Friday recovered valuables in cash worth Rs 2,81,700 that were lost in various cases of theft. The number of people who got their belongings back was 18. Of the total valuables recovered, gold jewellery was worth Rs 1,14,500, mobile phones Rs 1,62,200 and Rs 5000 was in cash. The Deputy Commissioner of Railway Police (Western region), Deepak Devraj felicitated various police officers on the occasion of Independence Day for their efforts in recovering these valuables through their network of informants.
