Tejas Sawant, an Arts student who scored 80 per cent, said, “I had not expected to score high marks as I was busy playing football at the state level. The psychology paper was difficult, yet we managed to do well. I want to pursue political science and study abroad.”

The examinations were conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) from February 21 to March 20. A senior official of the MSBSHSE, Mumbai division, said, “We declared the results early compared to last year, so that students would get sufficient time for the admission process for higher education.”
