Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday formally started functioning from his Mantralaya office situated on the sixth floor in the presence of Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis, his family members, legislators and government officers.
Shinde along with Fadnavis was sworn in on June 30. Thereafter, he held the maiden cabinet meeting and the press conference in Mantralaya.
However, Shinde was operating from his official bungalow Nandanvan and from the government guest house.
He held marathon meetings at BMC disaster control room on Tuesday while he reviewed the rainfall and floods in Konkan and rest of Maharashtra from the Thane District Collector’s office on Wednesday.
