COVID-19: Mumbai reports 794 new cases, 20 deaths on June 6

Mumbai reported 794 new COVID-19 cases on June 6, taking the total tally to 7,11,601. Now, there are 16,070 active cases in the city.

City recorded 20 deaths due to coronavirus on Sunday which pushed its fatality count to 15,038 as per data released by the city's civic body. 833 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged on Sunday taking the recovery count to 6,78,278.

On Sunday, 26,758 tests were conducted. May 17 had reported the lowest count rate with just 17,640 tests.

Meanwhile, the doubling rate has increased to 527 days, while the weekly growth rate has dropped to 0.13 percent.

There are total 27 containment zones in the city and 112 buildings have been sealed as per today's data. Mumbai has till date conducted 64,25,423 COVID-19 tests.
