Three months after losing her father in a brutal murder that shook all of Maharashtra, Vaibhavi Deshmukh, daughter of Massajog’s slain Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, appeared for her Class 12 board exams and passed with an outstanding 85.33%. A case has been registered against Valmik Karad and his gang, and judicial proceedings are currently underway. Her courage in the face of heartbreak has touched hearts across the state, making her a symbol of resilience and determination.

On the day of the results, Vaibhavi became emotional remembering her father. “It hurts that my father isn’t here to pat my back with pride,” she said. She also expressed that her success was due to her father’s blessings. Vaibhavi has also been seen fighting to get justice for her father. She faced the tragic circumstances with remarkable composure. She participated in every protest organized to demand justice for her father. Though deeply shaken by the loss, she stayed strong and supported her family through the ordeal. She even met with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, demanding the death penalty for those responsible for her father’s murder'.

Vaibhavi Deshmukh scored an impressive 85.33% in her Class 12 exams, but the joy of her result was overshadowed by the deep sorrow of losing her father. Expressing her emotions, Vaibhavi said that the fight for justice will continue, and she deeply missed her father on a day when he would have proudly patted her back. She shared that she wasn’t in the right mindset to take the exams, but she did so because it was her father’s dream to see her stand on her own feet. “This tragedy changed my life completely,” she said. “A mountain of grief fell upon us, and my thoughts shifted. I used to focus on my career. I wanted to become a doctor.” Vaibhavi has also demanded that the Santosh Deshmukh murder case be tried in a fast-track court.
