Amit Shah To Visit Maharashtra From May 25 To 27; Multiple Public Events Planned In Nagpur, Nanded & Mumbai

Amit Shah's visit includes a series of inaugurations, foundation-laying ceremonies, public addresses and special lectures. Shah will arrive in Nagpur on Sunday at 9.30pm

Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will embark on a three-day visit to Maharashtra from May 25 to 27, covering key cities including Nagpur, Nanded and Mumbai. His visit includes a series of inaugurations, foundation-laying ceremonies, public addresses and special lectures. Shah will arrive in Nagpur on Sunday at 9.30pm. The next morning, at 11.00am, he will perform the bhoomi pujan for the ‘Swasti Nivas’ guest house at the National Cancer Institute in Jamtha. At 1.00pm, he will lay the foundation stone for the permanent campus of the National Forensic Sciences University at Chincholi in Kamptee.

Later that day, at 3.00pm, he will reach Nanded, where he will unveil a statue of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik at Vasantrao Naik Chowk, Anand Nagar. At 3.30pm, Shah is scheduled to attend multiple events at Vidyut Nagar Chowk, followed by a meeting at Kusum Auditorium at 3.50pm. At 5.15pm, he will inaugurate facilities at Nana-Nani Park in the Industrial Area. A public rally is scheduled at 6.30pm at Nava Moda Ground. By 10.00pm, Shah will arrive in Mumbai.

During his visit to Nanded, Shah will also have dinner at the residence of local MP Ashok Chavan. Chavan’s bungalow, ‘Anand Nilayam’.

On May 27, Shah will attend the 150th anniversary celebration of the iconic Laxmi Narayan Temple at Madhavbaug Complex in Mumbai. The event marks a significant milestone in the city’s cultural and spiritual heritage and will also be attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Additionally, Shah will deliver a keynote address at the Jahangir Hall to mark the 60th death anniversary of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. Shah’s visit is being seen as politically significant, given its scale, locations and interactions planned across party lines.
