About The Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial
The memorial is being constructed at the Mumbai Mayor’s Bungalow in two phases. The first phase, which has been completed, focused on the preservation and restoration of the heritage structure, including building repairs, architectural enhancements, electrical and air-conditioning installations, exterior beautification, and the development of a parking facility.

The second phase will involve the construction of a state-of-the-art immersive museum experience, utilising advanced technology to showcase Balasaheb Thackeray’s legacy. The first phase was completed at a cost of Rs 180 crore, and work on the second phase is set to begin soon.
