4-day art fest in Bhayandar

Bhayandar: The second edition of the grand “Mira Bhayandar Festival” took off in Bhayandar (east) on Saturday. Organized at the Late Balasaheb Thackeray Grounds in the Indralok area of Bhayandar (east), the four day event is orgainsed by the Pratap Sarnaik Foundation under the aegis of the Sanskruti Yuva Pratishthan led by Yuva Sena leader- Purvesh Sarnaik who has been orgainsing similar events in Thane for the past several years.

Mayor Dimple Mehta inaugurated the event in the presence of BJP legislator Narendra Mehta and his Shiv Sena counterpart Pratap Sarnaik. “Apart from providing an apt platform for young budding artists in the field of arts, music, dance and fusion, the event will give an opportunity for the audiences here to experience the mystifying performance,” said Purvesh.

Renowned artists including legendary singers, contemporary folk music artists, playback singers will perform live at the venue. While the event also encompasses – art exhibition, entertainment for children, food stalls, shopping arena amongst other art related activities, a 3D painting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is turning to be the center of attraction, grabbing attention of visitors.
