Ujjain: Girls Degree College’s National Cadet Corps volunteers presented a play on life of soldiers on border in a programme organised on the eve of Republic Day. Drama comprising the ambush, a sudden and swift attack on enemy, patriotic songs and poems were presented by the cadets. Director of Police Training Academy, Ujjain, SP Rashmi Pandey participated as chief guest in the programme.
In the drama programme girl cadets showcased life of soldiers and how they fight with enemy and risk their life to protect the Tricolor and nation. Cadet Nivedita Thakur, Vaibhav Kakodiya, Rema Dipare, Pramila Chandravanshi, Chanchal Sisodiya were a part of the drama.
Principal Dr Ulka Yadav praised the role of soldiers in securing the borders and millions of people residing in it. Lieutenant Dr Saroj Ratnakar presented guest introduction and welcome address. Among other members Dr Ravindra Bharadwaj and Dr Anita Manchandiya were also present in the programme. Jahanvi Bharagava anchored the programme.
