Ujjain: Miscreant dupes victim of ` 10,000 held

Ujjain: Ujjain cyber cell team arrested a person for fleecing people through a fake job portal. According to police plaintiff Akshay Rathod was offered registration of some website at the cost of Rs 10 over a phone call. When he paid the said amount through his debit card, an amount of Rs 10000 was debited from his account. He then lodged a complaint with cyber cell of police.

After investigation the police arrested Vishal Goswami resident of Bulandshahar (UP). During interrogation Vishal broke down and confessed to the crime. According to police he al;ong with his aides Fatima and Sonal, has cheated many job seekers across the country for which FIRs against him already are already registered. The police told that the accused is serving his sentence in Bhopal Jail from where the police took him to Ujjain on police remand. The police told that by now over Rs 12 Lakh have been swindled by the accused.
