Ujjain: Chimanganj mandi police claimed to have arrested a driver who was trying to molest a minor girl studying in class IV. According to police vehicle driver Shamsher Pathan drove the vehicle to a lonely place where he showed obscene videos on mobile phone to the girl and tried to molest her.
When the girl raised her voice Pathan dropped the girl at her residence and fled from the spot. The victim narrated the incident to parents, who lodged an FIR with the Chimanganjmandi police against the driver under POCSO Act and the sections of the IPC.
On being tipped off the police arrested the driver when he came back home. The family members told police that the driver was ferrying the girl for last three years.
