Ujjain: The stinky wards and unhygienic surroundings welcomed collector Shashank Mishra at Charak Hospital during a surprise visit. He inspected all wards of the hospital and took stock of the cleanliness there. Mishra pulled up the contractor who manages the sanitation work in the hospital for the odour in the wards.
Civil surgeon PN Verma, RMO GS Dhavan, Dr Dilip Waske and other officials were also present during the inspection. The collector instructed officials concerned to maintain cleanliness in the hospital. Mishra also took note the absence of a lady doctor during duty house and instructed civil surgeon to take action against her.
