Nita Ambani, known for her love for Indian heritage and sophisticated sense of style, once again stole the spotlight at the prestigious Harvard India Conference 2025. Attending as a keynote speaker, the Reliance Foundation chairperson not only addressed an audience of esteemed scholars and business leaders but also honoured the legacy of India’s rich textile heritage with her sartorial choice.
For this notable occasion, Nita donned a stunning heirloom Parsi Gara saree, revived by renowned saree revivalist Zenobia S. Davar. The intricately embroidered sarees featured delicate, hand-stitched floral motifs in beautiful red and blue hues. Designer Manish Malhotra, who was also part of the collaboration for Nita’s look, shared insights into the ensemble. The saree’s intricate handiwork was matched with an exquisite blouse by Malhotra's label.
On his Instagram, the couturier expressed the joy of conceptualising looks that bridge cultural heritage with modern couture, saying, "Conceptualising concepts to styling timeless looks with Nita and us discussing handlooms to archival embroidery are precious and cherished moments."

The ensemble was thoughtfully accessorised with a set of elegant pearls, including a necklace, matching bracelets, dainty earrings, and rings. For her bag, Nita carried a rare pink mini Hermes Kelly featuring embroidered detailing, which perfectly complemented the intricate motifs of the saree.
Nita's sartorial look was completed with minimal yet radiant makeup. The focus was on her eyes with mascara-adorned lashes and bold brows, with subtle pink lips completing the look. She kept her hair loose in a side parting, framing her face with soft, natural waves.
This appearance at the Harvard India Conference isn’t the first time Nita Ambani has wowed the public with her sartorial choices. She has long been admired for her love of heirloom sarees and traditional Indian textiles. Before this, the businesswoman was seen wearing a gorgeous pink Shikargah Banarasi saree when she was conferred with the Governor's Citation. The saree's exquisite Kadwa weaving and traditional golden Konya design showcased Nita’s keen eye for the finest Indian craftsmanship.
