However, it also gives them the pedestal to make a difference- empower generations by working for the society. And that's precisely what the current Mrs Dubai Universe 2021 Pamala Serena Rull is conveying through her social work.
There have been a lot of women achievers in past who, by their poise, grace, ambition and passion, have donned many hats and have made the world a better place. Pamala Serena Rull is one such beautiful soul who is inspiring us with her vision to work with special children and upliftment of women.
Pamala Serena, who possesses a degree in Psychology from University of London, had advocated for women's campaigns against domestic abuse and other forms of discrimination even before she had begun her Mrs Universe Dubai journey. The gorgeous woman has worked for many years with children with disabilities and cared while she was in college.
Pamala, the winner of the Mrs Universe Dubai 2021 contest, has expanded the scope of her beauty with a Purpose drive by getting associated with two children's charity funds, namely Liter of Light and Earth Angels NGO and actively participated in Projects initiated to raise awareness among rural women regarding gender-based violence. In 2021, Pamala hit a fundraising milestone for Earthangels Welfare Foundation, a Mumbai-based NGO to help local Tribal Communities (Adivasi) fight hunger during covid.
The current Mrs Dubai Universe, who happens to be a former Miss India UK, said: "I'm so proud to be able to work on such worthy causes. It is my most-cherished mission to address problems that no one wants. For me, connecting with a purpose much larger than my dreams and me has always been my priority. I believe everyone who is in distress deserves the help."
Pamala Serena Rull further plans to build a holistic clinic and rejuvenation centre offering support to harassed women and providing different kinds of therapies that will help them overcome psychological and social barriers.
She is a strong-willed woman who was confidently raised by both her British and Punjabi Indian parents. It was her sheer willpower that, even after suffering from a spine injury weeks before Mrs Dubai's universe pageant final round, she walked again and won the crown. She humbly admits that it was her luck that the pageant got delayed by several weeks due to the ongoing pandemic. Otherwise, it would be impossible for her to participate in the event just after her fall that fractured her spine and made her bed-bound for a couple of months. Although Pamala owes all to her destiny but it was her resilience and determination to overcome obstacles that finally paid off.
Pamala draws her inspiration from famous women personalities who made a difference, such as Mother Teresa, Princess Diana, Margaret Thatcher, and Opera Winfrey. Apart from the above traits, Pamala holds a keen interest in cinematography, art, yoga, and music and has worked with well-known artists. The Diva loves travelling, reading, and cooking.
Winning the title 4 months ago Pamalas achievements are commendable. Not only working with charities & encouraging women empowerment she has now obtained a new title as “Her Excellency” as Ambassador for Peace for the United Nations.
She’s joined 2 ladies forums “First ladies forum 2022 Economic development summit Dubai and Mrs Universe under the high patronage of Emirati Business Woman Council
Gaining 3 awards already she first achieved 2022 The Global Womans Award as “The Successful Public figure”
Then she obtained the Strong Womans award 2022 as “The Public Role Model”
And now recently received the BeingShe Excellence Business & professional awards 2022 as Woman of Influence.
