Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Kareena wore an archival John Galliano Gazette Print Blazer and Skirt set from the Spring/Summer 2001 collection. This design traces its origins back to Galliano’s earlier works, first making waves in Dior’s Fall 2000 show, where models strutted down the runway to Britney Spears’ music, as shared by Rhea on her Instagram.
The beige monochrome co-ord set featured a structured, fitted blazer with sharp tailoring paired with a matching skirt that accentuated Kareena’s poised silhouette. The ensemble exuded nostalgia, effortlessly bringing back the Y2K era’s love for statement prints and daring cuts.
Kareena followed the Y2K aesthetic, pairing the ensemble with knee-high black leather boots. Her accessories also included a luxe black Hermès Birkin bag and a pair of sleek black sunglasses.
