The two veterans attended the screening of the 4K restored version of 'Aranyer Din Ratri' (Days and Nights in the Forest) as part of the Cannes Classics lineup.

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore paid tribute to the film and to Indian craftsmanship by choosing a deep green handwoven saree, proving once again that simplicity can make the strongest style statement.
The saree was embellished with golden zari borders and subtle vertical stripes, featuring a traditional pallu adorned with classic motifs, elegantly draped over her shoulder.
