BLACKPINK’s Lalisa Manobal, popularly called Lisa, set the stage ablaze at the 2025 Academy Awards with a breathtaking performance that not only celebrated the legacy of James Bond but also honoured Indian couture.

In a historic moment, Lisa became the first K-pop idol to ever perform at the Oscars, delivering a mesmerising rendition of 'Live and Let Die'—the iconic 1973 theme song originally performed by Paul McCartney & Wings. However, it wasn’t just her electrifying presence that captivated audiences; her stunning ensemble by Indian designer Rahul Mishra made just as bold a statement.

For her Oscars debut, the 27-year-old global sensation graced the stage in a striking black leotard from Rahul Mishra’s 'The Pale Blue Dot' collection, which debuted at Paris Haute Couture Week in January this year.

The piece, titled ‘Gaian Genesis,’ exuded an air of mystery and power, perfectly aligning with the theme of the James Bond universe. The ensemble featured intricate embroidery, long sleeves, and a dramatic red satin underlining with a flowing silhouette.

Styled by celebrity stylist Genesis Webb, Lisa adorned an exquisite diamond necklace and a pair of diamond studs. The singer further accentuated her look with bold red heels.

The Thai rapper's final glam featured glowing makeup with red lips and her signature updo hairstyle with bangs framing her face.
