Mumbai is all set to host the landmark 10th edition of All About Music (AAM X), beginning today (August 25), at the Grand Hyatt, Vakola. The three-day conference, running until August 27, marks a decade of bringing like-minded people together, sharing ideas, forging long term businesses and shaping India’s evolving music ecosystem.

This milestone edition promises three days packed with panel discussions, masterclasses, fireside chats, pitch sessions, to conversations with leading voices from the industry, networking sessions, with each day ending with a live musical showcase supporting emerging and established independent music artists from across the country. For those of us who follow and write about music, AAM offers a chance to step away from the concert stage and look at the larger picture—how music is created, promoted, consumed and monetised, the changing dynamics of music in terms of AI technology and to foresee how technology is reshaping the industry.
