Jaipur : In a fierce battle of equals, host Pink Panthers managed a sensational tie with Bengaluru Bulls in the PKl season 4 match played at the Sawai Mansigh stadium here.A do or die last raid from Bengaluru Bulls was successfully tackled by Pink Panthers securing a tie. At half time Pink Panthers were trailing and then made a terrific come back. With this result, Pink Panthers go to third place on the points table.

Bengaluru Bulls had to a winning start by defeating Bengal Warriors. Whereas after facing defeat in their opening match against U Mumba, Jaipur Pink Panthers did well to register their first win of the season against Telugu Titans. But playing in front of home crowd served as extra motivation for them.

As soon as the match started, both the teams were equal at the task. After the score was 6-7 in their favour, Bengaluru Bulls started to raise their lead further. After conceding 5 points lead, Panthers again were pulling the things back at 11-14 at the half time.

After the half time, with getting all out for second time, Panthers were trailing 12-23. But with Jasveer’s superb raid they managed to pull back at 21-23. But Bulls again managed to take 27-23 lead with last 3 minutes to go.

It all came down to the last raid by Rohit Kumar when the Panthers were still a point behind the Bulls, but living up to their franchise’s name, the Jaipur players leapt on the raider to get the one point that would draw the match. There was nothing much to separate these two sides and it reflected in the final result.
