Indore (Madhya Pradesh): BJP mayoral candidate Pushyamitra Bhargav said he would work to prepare Indore for ‘Vision 2025’.

“When the reins of the IMC council were in Congress hands, there were no roads, no streetlights, no sanitation system, no garden and no drainage system in the city. In 2020, people handed over the reins of the council to the BJP which, by making a Master Plan, 2021, built roads, put up streetlights, developed gardens, made a drinking water system, developed the sanitation infrastructure and made Indore the cleanest city in the country. Today, Indore is the shining star of the country,” he said while campaigning in the Indore-1 Assembly constituency.

He campaigned in ward Numbers 17, 12, 10, 11, 13 and 6.

Bhargav said that, today, big educational institutions, such as IIT and IIM were present in Indore. “Big companies are playing a role in the development of the city, while hundreds of companies are looking at the city for setting up their units. Now, the city needs to be prepared for 2050,” he said.

He said the condition of Indore before 2000 was known to all, so people would not give power to the Congress in IMC.
