Guna (Madhya Pradesh): The polling process at Raghogarh and Chanchoda, Guna concluded on Friday. The 255 voters of Raghogarh and 265 voters of Chanchoda villages enthusiastically participated in the three-tier election polling.

Voting started at 7:00 am and continued till 3:00 pm. A total of 83.40 per cent (84.11 male and 82.64 female) polling was recorded in Raghogarh Janpad Panchayat.

Similarly, 83.66 per cent (83.17-male and 84.20-female) polling took place at Chanchoda. Those who were still awaiting their turn to vote at the end of the scheduled time were given tokens so that they could exercise their franchise. Later, the counting of votes was done under the guidance of the returning officer.

According to officials, all the processes went peacefully and without any major disputes. The collector and district election officer informed that all the centres were continuously monitored by the authorities. The official results will be out on July 14.
