Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Vikramotsav-2025, organised by the Maharaja Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth under the Culture Department of the state government, has been awarded the Gold Award in the Special Event of the Year Government by WOW Awards Asia 2025.

The team of WOW Awards Asia will come to Bhopal and present this award to CM Mohan Yadav. Last year, Vikramotsav 2024 won Asia’s Biggest Religious Award.

CM’s cultural advisor and the director of Maharaja Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth, Shriram Tiwari, called it the result of Yadav’s dedication towards culture and heritage. He said this is a matter of pride not only for the state, but for the entire India.

Vikramotsav is not just an event but is an unmatched confluence of culture, heritage, and development, he said. Vikramotsav has been organised every year for the last 18 years.

Over the years, it has established its festive identity in the cultural sector. It includes not only national but also international participation.

WOW Awards Asia has been a prestigious platform promoting excellence and innovation in the field of live events since 2009. It provides international recognition to organisations and events working in areas such as experience-based marketing, business meetings, incentive travel, conferences, exhibitions, live entertainment, and the wedding industry. This year, its 16th edition was organised on June 20-21 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
