Indore: The long- awaited decision of awarding university grade to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar National Social Science Institute, Mhow was finally taken on Monday during a meeting held in the chair of Governor and Chancellor Ram Naresh Yadav in Bhopal.
The local body meeting of the institute was held and it was decided that Dr BR Ambedkar National Social Science and Management University grade would be awarded to it. This would be a campus university which would include five academic institutes and three directorates along with international coordination programmes. The meeting was attended by Governor’s principal secretary Vinod Semval, principal secretary SC/ ST Welfare PC Meena, SC Welfare Commissioner JN Malpan, Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Dubey and others were present. Two books published by the institute, “ Thoughts and philosophy of Dr Ambedkar” and “ D. Ambedkar’s Vision for Nation Building” were released by Yadav.
