Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): "The Union Budget for 2025-26 fulfills the dreams of every citizen and is a document of India's golden future," Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sumer Singh Solanki said on Saturday. "The budget will prove to be a milestone for the uplift of the middle and working classes," he asserted while calling it historic.

The budget, unveiled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, aims to benefit all sections of society under the banner of Sarvajan Sukhay, Sarvajan Hitay.

Solanki expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Sitharaman for their commitment to welfare. He highlighted significant provisions in the budget, including income tax exemptions for employees earning up to Rs 12.75 lakh and a promise to double farmers' incomes.

Key measures included an increase in the Kisan Credit Card limit to Rs 5 lakh, and efforts to make household and electronic goods more affordable. Dr Solanki believes these initiatives will transform the lives of middle-class citizens and provide financial assistance to the underprivileged. The budget will create employment opportunities for thousands of youth, he added.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for FY25-26 on Saturday at the parliament. The budget is attracting mixed reactions from the nation.
