Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A youth sustained severe injuries after a Chinese Manjha of a flying kit accidentally slit his throat in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain.

The victim identified as 21-year-old Mohammad Irshad got 20 stitches in the neck. He is a resident of Fazalpura and works as a compounder in a dental clinic.

Irshad, along with his friend, was passing by Dhaanchha Bhawan on his bike on Friday evening. Suddenly, a viper got entangled around his neck and slit his throat. He started bleeding profusely. His friend Sadavan rushed him to Charak Hospital. Irshad got 20 stitches on his neck due to the deep cut.

Doctors said Irshad had a narrow escape; had the manjha cut the inner part of the throat, he would have been dead. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
