Khachrod (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): The vaccination for people above 18 years of age is in full swing here as people appear enthusiastic to get inoculated.
In Ghanoda village of Khachrod tehsil, vaccination of 250 people in the 18 plus category was completed by 1 pm on Thursday. This was done with efforts of patwari Santosh Jain.
Patwari Dharmendra Pawar too ensured that 250 doses were administrated to people in Badagaon village. In Dhakad Dharamshala of Khachrod, 250 vaccines were administered. Thus, all the three centres achieved 100% target of the day.
Narayan Mandavliya had arranged for free tea and breakfast visiting the centre through Sewa Samiti.
At Porwal Dharamshala, 240 out of 250 vaccines were administered. Vaccination was monitored by SDM Purushottam Kumar, tehsildar Madhu Nayak and nayab tehsildar Arpit Mehta.
People reach vaccination centres early morning for inoculation. Government too has increased the stock of doses looking at increasing number of people visiting the centre.
For traders, a separate vaccination camp has been set up in Sunheriya Baag. It is mandatory for all the traders and their employees to get vaccinated. The Covid care centre here has no patients, at present. The medical staff led by Dr Sanjay Patel has expressed gratitude to people who have helped to fight Covid-19.
