Ujjain: As per health bulletin issued at 9.20 pm, 9 more people tested corona-positive in the district on Wednesday.
The tally reached 19,034 and the toll is 170.
Out of 2,018 sample reports, 4 persons from Ujjain City, 2 from Tarana, 2 from Khachrod and 1 from Nagda tested positive for corona on Tuesday. All of them are symptomatic.
Overall, 128 patients are under treatment as of Wednesday. Samples of 3,23,493 persons have been taken across the district so far and no report is awaited. With 10 patients discharged on the day, the total number of discharged patients increased to 18,736.

Among 26,520 targeted beneficiaries 76.24 per cent were administered anti-Corona vaccine in the district on Wednesday. This is the highest single day tally of vaccination so far. In all 20,220 persons were administered the vaccine in 170 centres across the district. Among the beneficiaries 17,196 were from the age group of 18 to 44 years. With 88.33 percent vaccination, Barnagar witnessed highest vaccination among the tehsils while Mahidpur logged the worst show with only 56.70 per cent vaccination in the single day.
