Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Higher education minister Mohan Yadav said that BJP will go to the public with four issues in the Ujjain Municipal Corporation elections. These issues will be of development, although he linked the proposed residential colonies in Sanvarakhedi andJeevankhedi with development.“Our work is to develop and the work of saints is to put their camps on Simhastha Fair land. No one is opposed to anyone’s work, they should do his work and we will do our work,” he added.

In a press conference at BJP office LokshaktiBhavanon Saturday, Yadav said that the BJP has fixed its programmes till June 30. There will be simultaneous meetings in the wards and will carry out programmes to reach the public. He said that Congress spread confusion in 15 months of its government and today BJP is doing development work. Works worth Rs 6 thousand crore are being done in Ujjain. The pace of development is such that the work of Ujjain-Dewas four-lane will be completed a year ago in July 2022, he claimed.

The cabinet minister also talked about the residential use of land of Sanvarakhedi andJeevankhedi and said that since the saints have to do with Simhastha Fair they talk about it, but our job is to develop so we talk about development. Simhastha fairs of 2004 and 2016 were held successfully, and the coming Simhastha-2028 will also be held successfully, he asserted.

The minister was also questioned regarding the City Buses and Bandka Industrial Area. He admitted that the work of Bandka Industrial Area has not been satisfactory till now but said that it will get better, as the Garoth four-lane is about to be ready. Then Nazarpur, Tajpur and Bandka Industrial Areas will be developed automatically, he added. Regarding the city bus, Yadav said that work supposed to be done in respect of city buses could not be done. The operation of city buses is not possible at the government level, he added saying that it is best not to comment about it in public.
