Ujjain: Minister’s convoy vehicle hits bike riders

As soon as his convoy reached Ingoria, two bike riders from village Ghudawan got hit by his convoy police jeep (MP 03 A 2428) near Ingoriya Chowpati.

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Higher education minister Mohan Yadav’s follow vehicle hit two bike riders, here on Monday. Yadav was on his way to Barnagar.

As soon as his convoy reached Ingoria, two bike riders from village Ghudawan got hit by his convoy police jeep (MP 03 A 2428) near Ingoriya Chowpati. Mahesh (36) son of Mohan and a resident of village Ghudawan are in critical condition. He has been referred to Ujjain.

Mahesh has suffered serious injuries in his head and legs. Another person Hiralal, son of Babulal also sustained injuries. Since the police vehicle is not insured, there might be trouble for the driver concerned.

Ujjain: 12 gm smack seized, 2 held

Neelganga police have arrested two drug peddlers from Harifatak overbridge. Sawan alias Kalu of Rajiv Ratna Nagar Colony was standing near the over-bridge with one of his companions to sell smack. He was accompanied by his friend. 12 gram of smack was seized from both of them. Sawan is a habitual offender and has also committed serious crimes like murder. Sawan’s parents were also smugglers and are currently in jail. After his parents were jailed, Sawan also started smuggling and is now caught by the police.
