Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): On the festival of Eid-al-Adha, a feeling of happiness was seen within the Muslim society, here on Sunday. The festivities were celebrated throughout the day in Muslim-dominated areas. Sacrifices were made in homes and prayers for happiness and peace in the country were made. After two years, once more the Idgah was buzzing with people. Thousands of individuals worshipped for the glory of the prophet. Thousands of devotees reached Idgah in Indira Nagar to offer Namaz. Namaz was also offered in numerous mosques within the city

There was a lot of enthusiasm among Muslim families. Goats and rams were sacrificed. People hugged and congratulated one another. Collector Asheesh Singh and SP Satyendra Kumar Shukla reached the Idgah and congratulated the Shahar Quazi Khaliqurrehman Nadvi and the people present there.
