Mhow : The railway officials got surprised when they found two illegal water connections from Western Railway’s pipeline. According to sources, the construction work for Railway over Bridge is on progress a Mhow-Simrol road near here. Under the bridge construction, the work of land-digging is in progress. Senior section officer of railway Narendra Sharma got surprised when he saw two tap-water connections were connected with the railway’s pipeline.

Western Railway sources and RPF police station in-charge  Jadaun Singh informed that one of the illegal tap-water connection was given to Ram Mandir at Simrol Road, while the other tap-water connection was connected in a house at Simrol road. The Western Railway source said that the water theft is continued since long with the help of these illegal tap-water connections. Due to that the railway is receiving less water supply from Narmada water supply-line. One railway employee informed that during the land-digging work for bridge construction, the water pipeline busted and the railway officials came to know about this illegal water connections. Western Railway’s Mhow station officials are investigating the matter and after the probe, the matter will be handed over to police.
