Indore : Chandan Nagar police on Wednesday arrested three persons for stabbing and injuring a man a few days ago. A knife was also recovered by the police from their possession.
According to TI Yogesh Singh Tomar, one Ravi of Panchmurti Nagar was stabbed and injured by Ganesh, Rahul of Panchmurti Nagar and Nitin Sharma of Loknayak Nagar following an argument over some issue on January 9.
The accused also beat him up black and blue. Later, they fled the scene and left the city in order to evade the police. On Wednesday, acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the trio from different places of the city and also recover a knife which was used in crime.
Two bikes recovered from bike lifter
Chandan Nagar police have nabbed a bike lifter and recovered two stolen bikes from his possession on Wednesday. Police said that after receiving a tip-off, one Mukesh Mali of Raj Nagar was arrested with a bike. He could not present the papers of bike and later he confessed that the bike was stolen from Chandan Nagar. Later, the police recovered another bike from his possession which was too stolen from somewhere.
Women looted of gold chain
Two bike borne miscreants managed to flee after snatching a gold chain from a woman in Vijay Nagar area on Tuesday. The police have registered a case and trying to trace the accused.
According to the police, 48-year-old Mamta Soni had come to Vijay Nagar for shopping with her neighbor woman and returning home when bike borne two miscreants came from back side and snatched her gold chain weighted 25 gram from her neck and fled the scene.
She also cried for help and some people were gathered there but the miscreants could not be caught.
Thieves take away with valuables
Thieves struck at a locked house in Aerodrome area and took away cash and other valuables from there.
The police have registered a case on the complaint of a neighbor of house owner and started an investigation into the matter. Police said that the incident took place at the house of one Mevalal Gaud of Lake Palace Colony.
Gaud’s neighbor Ashish told the police that the incident was discovered when other neighbor informed him on Tuesday afternoon. He immediately reached Gaud’s house and informed the police after finding households in disarray. Gaud had gone to his native place in UP with his family when the incident happened.
